Bay Area Campus Delivers New Services and Greater Access to Care

HOUSTON (Sept. 16, 2025) – The Kelsey-Seybold Clinic — Bay Area Campus renovations and expansion are complete, having opened two buildings on adjacent properties, including a 32,000-square-foot cancer center and a 116,000-square-foot professional building that includes an ambulatory surgery center (ASC) with a planned opening in 2026. Bay Area Campus expands access for patients with space for a combined total of 79 providers offering services and care. It is easily accessible from I-45 just south of Beltway 8, directly across from Baybrook Mall.

Bay Area Campus patients now have access to a broader range of outpatient services and specialized care, including more complex lab services, a full array of diagnostic services, additional cancer care services and more treatment space.

Expanded Specialties

Patients have access to comprehensive adult and pediatric primary care, as well as access to expanded specialty care and newly added specialties in anesthesiology, allergy, audiology, cardiology (general and interventional), dermatology, endocrinology, family medicine, gastroenterology, hematology/oncology, hospitalist medicine, internal medicine, Mohs surgery, neurology, OB/GYN, ophthalmology, optometry, orthopedics, orthopedics–sports medicine, otolaryngology (ENT), palliative care, pediatrics, physical medicine and rehabilitation, plastic surgery, podiatry, pulmonary medicine, radiology, radiation oncology, rheumatology, sleep medicine, general surgery and urology.

Expanded Ancillary Services

Bay Area Campus patients have access to many new support services, including a larger on-site Kelsey Pharmacy with an added drive-through, on-site laboratory, cardiac diagnostic imaging and additional diagnostic imaging services, including MRI, CT capable of performing enhanced cardiac imaging capability, 3D mammography, ultrasound, DEXA and nuclear medicine imaging.

Expanded Cancer Services

As part of the expansion, Bay Area Campus added our first-ever free-standing cancer center located in Bay Area Campus, Building C, 18833 Gulf Freeway. For patients living or working in Southeast Houston, this new cancer center provides convenient cancer care, including hematology/oncology, chemotherapy, infusion therapy, and radiation oncology.

Planned Expansion in Surgical Care

Bay Area Campus was thoughtfully designed with space for future expansion of medical services, including an ambulatory surgery center (ASC) located in Bay Area Campus – Building B with plans to open in 2026. The ASC will open with four operating rooms, three endoscopy suites and a procedure room to support interventional pain management and interventional radiology (IR) services. The ASC will also have capacity for 23-hour patient observation, expanding the complexity of surgical services that will be offered in this outpatient setting.
