Raymond Nieto, MD, is a graduate of Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where he earned his Doctorate of Medicine in 2013. After finishing a research fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine, he completed his Family Medicine residency at Latrobe Family Medicine Residency in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, in 2020. Dr. Nieto joined Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in December 2025 and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Nieto was inspired to pursue his passion for education and service through medicine by his parents, lifelong educators who emphasized the value of learning and serving others. As a Family Medicine physician, he provides comprehensive primary care to patients from infancy through older age. His clinical interests center on preventive care and providing coordinated, evidence-based care for complex and chronic conditions such as diabetes and heart disease. Dr. Nieto also offers evaluation and treatment of new and acute concerns such as injuries, infections, and seasonal viruses. His favorite part of being a physician is helping patients understand their health and seeing that understanding translate into confidence and better outcomes.
Philosophy of Care
Dr. Nieto listens carefully and explains diagnoses and evidence-based treatments clearly to build trust and ensure his patients feel supported and heard. With a friendly, thoughtful approach, he focuses on patient education and partnering with his patients so they can take an active role in their health.
