Jan Giang Nguyen, MD, attended the American University of Antigua College of Medicine in Osbourn, Antigua and Barbuda, graduating summa cum laude with her medical degree in 2020. She then relocated to Panorama City, California, to complete the UCLA-affiliated Family Medicine residency program at Mission Community Hospital in 2025. Bilingual in English and Vietnamese, Dr. Nguyen joined Kelsey-Seybold as a board-certified Family Medicine physician in August 2025.
After seeing her loved ones struggle to access care in her own community, Dr. Nguyen continually strives to become the physician they needed when she was growing up. She provides primary care to all ages, including preventive care as well as sick care for a wide range of symptoms and conditions such as respiratory illness, injuries, burns, minor skin problems, urinary tract infections, allergies, arthritis, asthma, COPD, heart disease, high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes, ear infections, headaches, and more. She can also perform minor, in-office procedures and is especially interested in promoting women’s health. Dr. Nguyen’s favorite aspect of being a physician is being able to provide longitudinal continuity of care as she builds lasting relationships with her patients.
Philosophy of Care
Dr. Nguyen takes a preventive and proactive approach to patient-centered, coordinated care, using collaboration and teamwork to ensure her patients receive seamless, comprehensive care, especially for complex or chronic conditions.
Hobbies & Interests
Dr. Nguyen loves eating her way around the world, cooking and baking, and then burning off those calories with tennis and pickleball.
