F. Daniel Medrano, MD, attended Temple University Lewis Katz School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, graduating with his medical degree in 2001. He then relocated to Texas, going to the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine in Galveston to complete his internship and residency in 2005. Fluent in English and Spanish and double board certified in Internal Medicine and Hospice/Palliative Care, Dr. Medrano joined Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in January 2026 with two decades of experience in medicine.
For Dr. Medrano, medicine allows him to combine his love of science and passion for helping his fellow humans. He provides comprehensive primary care for adult patients — everything from preventive health and wellness visits to the management of chronic diseases and complex medical problems across all organ systems. His clinical interests include diabetes, weight loss, heart disease, and palliative medicine. In his daily practice, Dr. Medrano most enjoys meeting different people across all ages, backgrounds, life experiences, and cultures.
