Dr. Carlos Meheux earned his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and molecular biology, graduating cum laude, at the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2009. He completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee in 2014. He completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital in 2019 and his fellowship training in adult hip and knee reconstructive surgery with world-renowned mentors at Florida Orthopedic Institute in Tampa in 2020.
Dr. Meheux completed multiple scholarly projects on hip and knee disease and treatment that have resulted in presentations at national and international meetings and publications in multiple journals and textbooks. He also has extensive experience in orthopedic trauma and shoulder reconstruction.
He has volunteered on multiple mission trips to Guatemala through the Faith in Practice charity organization.
He joined Kelsey-Seybold in August 2020.

Dr. Meheux enjoys watching and playing sports (particularly soccer and basketball), weight training, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Operative/non-operative treatment of hip and knee disease, arthritis and joint reconstruction, knee replacements, hip replacements, avascular necrosis of the hip, hip preservation, hip dysplasia, robotic-assisted hip and knee surgery, lower extremity trauma/fractures, shoulder trauma/fractures, shoulder arthritis, and shoulder replacements.
