How CoolSculpting Works
The FDA-approved CoolSculpting procedure uses extreme cold temperatures to destroy the layers of fat cells while leaving the skin unaffected. Safe and effective, the procedure helps contour the body, freezing away unwanted fat that is resistant to diet and exercise without surgery or downtime.
CoolSculpting is a nonsurgical fat cell reduction technology that gently and effectively targets the fat cells underneath the skin. Born out of the science of Cryolipolysis®, the idea of the CoolSculpting innovative cooling process was developed by scientists at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School.
With CoolSculpting, the treated fat cells are frozen and then die. Over time, your body naturally processes the fat and eliminates these dead cells, leaving a more sculpted you.
