Troy Fiesinger, MD, attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, earning his medical degree in 1996. He went on to East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina, to complete his internship and Family Medicine residency in 1999. Dr. Fiesinger joined Kelsey-Seybold as a board-certified Family Medicine physician in September 2025 with more than 25 years of experience in a variety of primary care settings.
When he was a teenager, Dr. Fiesinger’s mother was diagnosed with cancer, and during her care, he was inspired to pursue a career in medicine by her compassionate doctors who exemplified the kind of physician he strives to be. As a primary care physician, Dr. Fiesinger enjoys caring for patients from adolescence to advanced age. He treats a wide variety of medical conditions from chronic diseases like hypertension and diabetes to common musculoskeletal conditions, as well as mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. He is also trained to perform joint injections and office-based skin surgery. Dr. Fiesinger is especially interested in chronic diseases like hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, asthma, and COPD. He finds great satisfaction in working with his patients to solve their health problems and improve their well-being.
Philosophy of Care
Dr. Fiesinger listens closely to his patients and encourages open, two-way communication to build the trust that is essential in a therapeutic relationship. He serves as a partner with his patients, guiding them to better health by providing them with tools and knowledge to achieve their health goals.
Hobbies & Interests
Dr. Fiesinger is an avid cyclist who enjoys exploring his surroundings, from Greater Houston to the classic roads of Europe. He and his wife enjoy traveling, whether experiencing other countries or exploring their families' roots.
