Sumeet Soni, MD, FACP, is a triple board-certified physician specializing in Pulmonology and Critical Care at Kelsey-Seybold. She earned her medical degree at Kasturba Medical College in 2011. She then completed her residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Urbana Champaign Internal Medicine Program in 2018 – followed by a Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in 2021. She joined Kelsey-Seybold medical staff in September 2024.

Driven to practice medicine by her love of biology, Dr. Soni see patients for a variety of respiratory diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, interstitial lung disease (ILD), and bronchiectasis. She also diagnoses and coordinates care for lung cancers. Dr. Soni most enjoys making a difference in the lives of her patients.
