​​​Professional Background 

After graduating with a medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 2011, Dr. Shane Magee completed an Internal Medicine residency with a primary care track at Boston Medical Center in 2014. He served as an instructor with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, N.Y., from 2014 until he joined Kelsey-Seybold in September of 2016.

Professional Associations 

Dr. Magee is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association and the Texas Medical Association. 

Hobbies and Interests

Dr. Magee is a self-described voracious reader. He also enjoys playing racquetball and traveling.

Fun Facts

Dr. Magee’s favorite book is “Les Miserables” by Victor Hugo and his favorite medical show is “St. Elsewhere.” When he was a child, he wanted to be an astronaut. If he could have superpowers, he would choose the power to fly.​​

​Patients should be empowered to make decisions about their health that are right for them. My job is to help them reach health goals tailored to them.
