Dr. Seyed Tabatabai, MD, MPH, earned his medical degree from the St. George’s University School of Medicine in 2021. He then completed his Family Medicine residency at the University of Texas McGovern School of Medicine in 2024. Dr. Tabatabai also holds an MPH from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
Dr. Tabatabai was inspired to become a physician by his Family Medicine doctor growing up, who eventually became his mentor and taught him the importance of working closely with patients to provide compassionate care. Dr. Tabatabai joined Kelsey-Seybold in September 2024. He has experience in treating a wide range of conditions in Family Medicine and has clinical interests in preventative care, diabetes, hypertension, sports medicine, pain management and weight management. Patients also see Dr. Tabatabai for acute issues like colds, cough, rashes, and injuries.
Dr. Tabatabai believes the best care happens when patients feel truly heard and involved. He is dedicated to working side by side with each patient to create personalized, practical plans that support their health and treatment goals.
Hobbies & Interests
In his spare time, Dr. Tabatabai enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing soccer, hiking and nature photography.
