After earning her medical degree from Makerere University in Uganda in 1986, Dr. Nakyonyi-Ntwatwa completed her Family Medicine internship and residency at Texas Tech University in 2004.

Dr. Nakyonyi-Ntwatwa is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Academy of Family Physicians and Harris County Medical Society.

Hobbies and Interests

When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Nakyonyi-Ntwatwa enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, going to the movies, working out at the gym and learning about different cultures.​​

Certification through NCQA’s national Diabetes Recognition Program comes after a comprehensive, individualized review process to verify a physician’s adherence to national standards of excellence in caring for patients diagnosed with diabetes.
