Dr. Mirzai-Tehrane earned his medical degree from Ankara University in the Turkish Republic. He completed his internship and residency at Cabrini Medical Center in New York, N.Y. He completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at Cabrini Medical Center and the Mt. Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Mirzai-Tehrane is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Nuclear Cardiology.​​​

​I believe an ounce of prevention saves pounds of treatment in the future. For example, a simple cheap blood pressure medicine can save a patient lots of headaches and expenses down the road. So prevention is much better than treatment.

​Dr. Mirzai-Tehrane has been recognized for providing outstanding cardiovascular and stroke care by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and American Heart Association/American Stroke Association (AHA/ASA) Heart/Stroke Recognition Program. Recognition through the Heart/Stroke Recognition program is achieved as the result of a comprehensive, individualized review process that verifies a physician’s adherence to national standards of excellence in caring for patients with cardiovascular disease or who have had a stroke.​
