Kristi Stanton, MD, is a caring and compassionate OB/GYN specialist at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. She attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, earning her medical degree in 2021. She then went to Dallas, where she completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2025. Dr. Stanton joined Kelsey-Seybold in September 2025.
For Dr. Stanton, serving others through practicing medicine is a privilege and the realization of a lifelong aspiration. As an OB/GYN, she provides comprehensive women’s healthcare from well woman exams and pregnancy care to contraception management and care for menstrual irregularities, pelvic pain, menopause symptoms, and more. Her clinical interests also include breast and cervical cancer screening and management, fibroid treatment, and minimally invasive and robotic gynecologic surgery. Dr. Stanton’s favorite parts of practicing medicine are building long-term relationships with her patients and walking with women through some of the most memorable and sensitive aspects of their lives.
Philosophy of Care
Dr. Stanton strives to create a safe environment for all patients, using active listening and showing compassion to treat each patient with dignity. With a focus on clear and honest communication and patient autonomy, she empowers and collaborates with patients in creating their best individualized plans of care.
Hobbies & Interests
Away from Kelsey-Seybold, Dr. Stanton enjoys rock climbing/bouldering, trying new restaurants, watching movies, and spending time with her husband and dog.
