Education & Board Certification
Kanza Ahmed, MD, attended the American University of Antigua College of Medicine in Coolidge, earning her medical degree in 2021. She then completed the Internal Medicine residency program at United Health Services in Johnson City, New York, in 2025. Trilingual in English, Hindi, and Urdu, Dr. Ahmed joined Kelsey-Seybold Clinic’s Internal Medicine department in December 2025.
Dr. Ahmed follows in the footsteps of her role model — her father, who was also a physician. As an internist, she provides primary care for adult patients, including care for acute concerns, such as seasonal viruses and injuries, as well as management of chronic conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, and thyroid disease. Dr. Ahmed also offers comprehensive preventive care, such as check ups, vaccinations, routine screenings, and more with regular follow up consultations. Her favorite aspect of practicing medicine is building trust and relationships not only with patients but also with their families.
Philosophy of Care
Dr. Ahmed engages in clear communication and listens carefully to her patients, responding with empathy and understanding. She then thoroughly explains every facet of care, every diagnosis, and every step of her patients’ individualized care plans. Dr. Ahmed also treats each patient as individuals, and not just as cases, to help create a safe, respectful environment.
