Moved by his admiration of his parents for giving back to others, Dr. Husain pursued medicine as a way to model their values and make a meaningful difference for people in his community. As a gastroenterologist, he cares for patients with a wide range of digestive health concerns, including GERD, liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease, IBS, and more. Dr. Husain especially enjoys performing screening colonoscopies for colon cancer as well as upper endoscopies. What he loves most about practicing medicine is getting to know his patients and being there to help them when they need it most.

Dr. Husain listens carefully to his patients’ concerns and involves them in every step of their care, treating them with respect, compassion, and honesty. With a focus on evidence-based medicine and lifestyle guidance to support long-term health, he tailors treatment to his patients’ individual needs so they feel informed, supported, and confident in their care.
