Jingxin Sun, MD, earned both her Doctor of Medicine and Master of Science in Hematology at Xi’an Jiao Ton University in Xi’an, China, in 2003 and 2005, respectively. She went on to complete her PhD in biochemistry in 2008 at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, conducting postdoctoral research in pharmacology. After moving to the U.S.A., Dr. Sun continued her postdoctoral studies at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, and at Boston Medical Center. She then went to AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida, where she completed both her internship and residency in Internal Medicine in 2017 and 2018, respectively. She completed her fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Sun was inspired to become a doctor by her father and finds the most rewarding aspect of practicing medicine to be the experience of seeing patients get better with treatment. She is able to treat adult patients of all ages for any blood disorder or cancer.
