Professional Background

Dr. Prasad graduated from medical school at the University of Missouri in 2002. He continued his medical education at Wayne State University where he completed internships in general Surgery and Otolaryngology.  He is trained in balloon sinuplasty and believes this procedure is a good tool for treating sinus problems using a minimally invasive approach.

Hobbies and Interests

In his free time, Dr. Prasad enjoys listening to music, movies and watching sports.

I believe strongly in patient education. It is imperative that a patient have as thorough an understanding of a disease process as possible.  I feel this helps improve both compliance and treatment outcomes and makes follow up care, if needed, more effective.
