About Video Visits

Video Visits are available to new and current patients experiencing COVID-19 symptoms (upper or lower respiratory symptoms, fever, headache, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pain, new loss of taste or smell, vomiting or diarrhea, and/or sore throat). Video Visits are conducted by a Kelsey-Seybold Clinic provider who can immediately screen for COVID-19 and, if needed, direct you to the appropriate level of care or provide a care plan, including testing for COVID-19 or sending prescriptions to the pharmacy of your choice.

What is a Video Visit?

A Video Visit is a real-time conversation with a board-certified provider from your smartphone or iPad using the MyKelsey/MyChart app or by logging in to your MyKelseyOnline account. Video Visits are available for COVID-19 or respiratory symptoms.

What are the Video Visit Hours?

Adult Video Visit hours: Mon. – Fri. 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sat. – Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Pediatric Video Visits: Mon. – Fri. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sat. – Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

How much does a Video Visit Cost:

Standard co-pay or deductibles apply and are due at E-checkin. We will file a claim for the video visit with your insurance company. A small number of plans do not cover virtual services or require you to use a different provider network. You may wish to check with your insurer. Cost share waivers are no longer in effect with the end of the Public Health Emergency on May 11th, 2023.

E-visit and Video Visit costs do not include the price for COVID-19 testing, if further testing is needed. Depending on the care provided your insurance may be billed for more later.
