Diabetes Education Programs

Diabetes is best managed when you utilize the diabetes team, which consists of your physician, Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialists, and Registered Dietitians. Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialists and Registered Dietitians can provide you with the information and motivation you need to lead a healthier lifestyle. The diabetes education program has been ADA recognized since 1997.


Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (CDCES)

  • Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (CDCES) specialize in education and management of diabetes and are available to provide individualized counseling.
  • Our CDCESs are available at many of our clinics. You can schedule a one-to-one visit or Video Visit through MyKelseyOnline. Or, you can call the Contact Center at 713-442-0000. 

Registered Dietitians

  • Registered Dietitians (RDs) provide individualized nutritional counseling.
  • The RDs are available at many of our clinics. You can schedule a one-to-one visit through MyKelseyOnline. Or, you can call the Contact Center at 713-442-0000.
