Zubia graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Spanish and Biology. She attained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) at The University of Texas -RGV in 2014. She became the first primary care PA-C at Kelsey-Seybold under the supervision of Donnie Aga, M.D., in May 2015. Zubia has since excelled in telemedicine visits and now manages all Internal Medicine PAs. She sees patients in clinic for routine physicals, well-woman exams, follow-up visits, and weight loss management; treats acute illnesses; and manages chronic diseases.

Hobbies & Interests

Zubia enjoys maintaining her fitness, sightseeing, traveling, painting, do-it-yourself projects, interior design, photography, reading, cooking, hiking, outdoor adventures, spending time with family and friends, and spoiling her two furry cats. She also volunteers at various charitable organizations and participates in cancer research fundraising runs.

Fun Facts

She lived in Saudi Arabia for six years and has visited a number of countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Spain, England, France, South Africa, Egypt, Mexico, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Pakistan, and Australia.
