Fun Facts

The best advice Sheila has ever received is “You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.”

The most exotic places she has visited are the Cenotes (underwater caves) in Mexico, Cinque Terre in Italy, and the Acropolis in Athens.

Not everyone knows this about Sheila, but she has done open water diving with 30-plus sharks in the Bahamas. Her guilty pleasure is seafood gumbo.

As a child, Sheila wanted to be a waitress because she liked the idea of serving people with a large tray. She achieved her goal at 18, working at Saltgrass Steak House in Houston.

I focus on developing patient relationships centered on trust. My goal for each patient is for them to feel heard and fully understand their condition and the potential options for the next steps in their treatment.
