After completing a Dermatology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in 2010, Dr. Mir was awarded a procedural dermatology fellowship with The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, which he completed in 2011. This prestigious fellowship included training in all aspects of dermatologic surgery including Mohs surgery for skin cancer and cosmetic surgical procedures. He is currently an assistant professor with Baylor College of Medicine Department of Dermatology.
Dr. Mir is a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery.
Dr. Mir enjoys playing golf, exercising and spending time with his children.
