Min Yi Dong, MD, is a Palliative Care physician who focuses on improving quality of life for patients with serious, life-limiting illness. She earned her medical degree from McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) in 2021, completed her Family Medicine residency there in 2024, and completed a Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship at Emory University in 2025. Dr. Dong joined Kelsey-Seybold in October 2025.
Dr. Dong connects with patients and families during vulnerable moments and provides clear, compassionate care. She treats complex symptoms and helps patients and families navigate difficult medical decisions across the course of illness. Her clinical interests include early integration of palliative care, advance care planning, and goals-of-care conversations. She cares for adults and collaborates closely with each patient's broader care team to ensure continuity and support.

Dr. Dong's philosophy of care is rooted in compassion, dignity, and respect for each person's unique journey. She believes in whole-person care that aligns treatment with what matters most to the patient. Even in the face of serious illness, there is always an opportunity for comfort, connection, and meaningful care.
Hobbies and Interests
Outside of medicine, Dr. Dong enjoys spending time outdoors, taking walks, and sharing meals with friends and family.
