Kristin Acrey, DO, is a board-certified family medicine physician dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals and families of all ages. Dr. Acrey earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Buies Creek, North Carolina, in 2023 and completed her Family Medicine Residency at UTHealth McGovern Medical School in Houston in 2026. She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and joined Kelsey-Seybold in September 2026.
Inspired by her mother's career as a nurse and her father's experience with chronic health conditions, Dr. Acrey developed a passion for medicine and helping others achieve better health. Her clinical interests include obesity medicine and the prevention and management of chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension. Dr. Acrey cares for patients of all ages and treats a wide range of conditions, including high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, respiratory infections, headaches, digestive concerns, musculoskeletal pain, and women's health needs. She also emphasizes preventive care, health screenings, and overall wellness. Dr. Acrey speaks English and believes in building strong relationships through open communication, active listening, and collaborative care that supports each patient's individual goals.

Dr. Acrey's philosophy of care is centered on treating each patient as a whole person and creating a partnership built on trust, respect, and open communication. She believes in combining evidence-based medicine with each patient's individual needs, values, and goals. Dr. Acrey's goal is to empower patients with the knowledge and support they need to take an active role in their health and achieve a better quality of life.
