Keydy Diaz, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, attended the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine at Galveston, completing her Master of Science in Nursing in 2015. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Houston – Victoria and a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Houston at Houston. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Keydy joined Kelsey-Seybold’s Family Medicine department as a board-certified nurse practitioner in January 2026.
By pursuing a career in healthcare, Keydy follows in the footsteps of her mother — a physician who served a small community in Mexico and inspired Keydy to become who she is today. As a primary care provider, she offers compassionate, evidence-based care to patients of all ages. This includes preventive care like well checks and care for acute conditions such as respiratory infections, pneumonia, ear infections, throat infections, urinary tract infections, and injuries. She also partners with patients to manage chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol, asthma, COPD, heart failure, and others. As she pursues her goal of guiding patients toward healing, Keydy loves to see patients recover from their health conditions and achieve greater overall wellness.
Philosophy of Care
Keydy believes that compassion, mutual communication, and patient education build the foundation for strong patient-provider relationships. Fostering these strong connections with her patients enables her to best provide patient-centered care that focuses on each patient’s physical and emotional well-being.
Hobbies & Interests
When not caring for patients, Keydy loves expending quality time with her family.
