After completing medical school at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2005, Dr. Wu interned in the Department of General Surgery at the University of Arizona from 2005-2006. She then completed a residency in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Arizona in 2010, followed by a one-year sports medicine fellowship program at the Orthopaedic Research of Virginia from 2010-2011.

Dr. Wu was named Chief Resident in 2010 while at the University of Arizona’s Department of Orthopaedics, and was a Herbert M. Seybold Scholarship recipient 2001-2005.
