Pharmacy Residency

Qualifications
Requirements for acceptance include a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and eligibility for Texas State Licensure by September 1. Candidate must be eligible for U.S. employment. Immunization/Sterile Products Certification is preferred, but not required. Selected applicants will be contacted by mid-January to set up an onsite interview, which will be an all day event at Kelsey-Seybold facilities.

Accreditation

The Kelsey-Seybold Clinic PGY1 Managed Care Pharmacy Residency is accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists/Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy and participates in ASHP's Match Program. Applicants to this program must register through the ASHP Resident Matching Program.

Application Deadline: First Friday in January

Complete the following and submit all application materials to PhoRCAS:

  • Application Form
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • All Professional Pharmacy Education Transcripts
  • Letter of Intent
  • 3 Letters of Recommendation

          One should be from someone other than a college faculty member
