Current patients only BiographyProfessional BackgroundDr. Victor Simms is Chief of the Department of Internal Medicine at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. Dr. Simms graduated from Baylor College of Medicine’s medical school in 1996. Following his doctorate, he completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor. He continued his education at the school with a fellowship in Primary Care Research. In addition, he earned a Master of Public Health degree from The University of Texas School of Public Health.Professional Associations Dr. Simms is President of the Texas Chapter of American College of Physicians Services and is a fellow of the organization. In addition, he is a member of the American Medical Association and the Harris County Medical Society.Hobbies and InterestsDr. Simms considers medicine a calling. When not caring for patients, he enjoys weight training, golf, reading and mentoring disadvantaged youth. He is active in charitable organizations and serves on the board of directors for Hope Through Grace, a non-profit organization that screens uninsured patients for colorectal cancer. He is also active in the Wellness Ministry at Brookhollow Baptist Church.
