Sydney Stockinger, MPAS, PA-C, first earned her Bachelor of Science in biochemistry at the University of Texas at Austin in 2022. She then relocated to Galveston to complete the University of Texas Medical Branch Physician Assistant Studies Program in 2025. Sydney joined Kelsey-Seybold Clinic’s Orthopedics department as a certified physician assistant in October 2025.
Sydney was inspired to pursue medicine by her passion for helping others and her fascination with how the human body works. As a compassionate and attentive listener who takes the time to understand her patients’ concerns, Sydney works to help them feel heard, informed, and supported in every step of the way toward improved orthopedic health. She evaluates and manages a wide range of orthopedic concerns, including joint pain, arthritis, fractures, sports injuries, tendon and ligament problems, and post-surgical recovery, and she has a special interest in joint replacement. Whether it’s a new injury or a chronic condition, Sydney strives to find solutions that restore mobility and function, reduce pain, and help patients return to the activities they love as quickly and safely as possible.
Philosophy of Care
Sydney builds trust by truly listening to her patients, taking time to explain their diagnoses and treatment options, and involving them in creating evidence-based, individualized care plans that fit each patient’s unique needs and lifestyle. She believes open communication, collaboration, empathy, and follow-through are key to forming strong, lasting patient relationships.
Hobbies & Interests
Outside of work, Sydney enjoys playing pickleball, needlepointing, traveling, skiing, and reading a good book, and walking her Frenchie, Margot. She also loves spending time with her family and exploring Houston’s food scene.
Sydney is a member of the American Association of Physician Associates and the Texas Association of Physician Assistants.
