She then went on to complete a residency in ocular disease/primary care in 2020 at the Albuquerque Indian Health Center in New Mexico. Hobbies and Interests

Dr. Rajan enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, video games, and spending time with family and friends.

Fun Facts

Dr. Rajan loves to travel. She says the most beautiful hike she’s done so far is Ice Lake Basin in Colorado, which “feels like middle Earth!”

Ice cream is Dr. Rajan’s guilty pleasure. “It can be snowing outside and I will still want ice cream.”

As a kid, she wanted to be an astronaut or NASA scientist when she grew up “because space is so limitless and fascinating, with so much more to explore!”

My philosophy of patient care is built out of communication and compassion because we are a team. I want my patients to feel welcome and heard but also to be fully informed about their condition and treatment options before they make a decision for their ocular health.
