Mujtaba Rahman, MD, earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at the McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) in 2014. He remained in Houston to complete his Anesthesiology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in 2018. Dr. Rahman joined Kelsey-Seybold as an experienced, board-certified anesthesiologist in September 2025.

Dr. Rahman became a physician to make a positive difference for others. As an anesthesiologist, he cares for patients who require anesthesia for a surgical or medical procedure. Aside from general anesthesia, he has a particular interest in regional anesthesiology, such as epidurals and peripheral nerve blocks. As an important part of patient care teams, Dr. Rahman most enjoys having the opportunity to help patients and their families through stressful moments.

Philosophy of Care

Dr. Rahman listens to his patients’ concerns and creates tailored care plans that help address them. With a focus on providing personalized and patient-centered care, he treats each patient with dignity and respect.

Hobbies & Interests

In his free time, Dr. Rahman loves jogging and other personal fitness activities and travel. He’s also an avid Texas Longhorns football fan.
