Moayyad Alziadat, MD, is a triple-board-certified physician who attended Mu'tah University in Jordan, earning his medical degree in 2008. After practicing medicine for several years, he went to New York Medical College/St. Joseph's University Medical Center to complete its Internal Medicine residency program in 2017. Dr. Alziadat remained at St. Joseph's University Medical Center to complete his Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine fellowship in 2020. Soon after, he relocated to Texas and then joined Kelsey-Seybold in August 2025.
Dr. Alziadat was deeply moved by watching his late grandfather struggle with COPD and emphysema and was determined to pursue medicine to help patients better navigate these difficulties and manage the profound impact chronic conditions have on patients’ lives. He sees patients for a variety of conditions and symptoms affecting the lungs and breathing. These include shortness of breath, wheezing, cough, snoring, excessive daytime sleepiness, asthma, COPD, emphysema, lung nodule, lung mass, hypoxia, low oxygen levels, obstructive sleep apnea, lung fibrosis, interstitial lung disease, pneumonia, pleural effusion, nontuberculous mycobacterial disease, bronchiectasis, alpha-1-antitrypsin deficiency, Aspergillosis, ARDS, elevated carbon dioxide, hypercapnia, lung cancer, and sarcoidosis. In his work with patients, Dr. Alziadat most enjoys being able to make his patients' lives better.
Philosophy of Care
While respecting his patients’ values, beliefs, preferences, and privacy, Dr. Alziadat prioritizes honesty and empathy as he works with his patients as partners in improving their health. He strives to build a strong, supportive, collaborative partnership with each individual – treating the whole person, not just the disease, by taking the time to truly listen to their concerns, understand their unique experiences, values, and goals, and incorporating these into their evidence-based care plans.
Hobbies & Interests
When he isn’t caring for patients, Dr. Alziadat enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, gardening, and cooking.
