Michelina Ippoliti, MD, earned her medical degree at the Universidad Central De Venezuela in Caracas, Venezuela, graduating in 2014. She went on to Long Branch, New Jersey, to complete her Internal Medicine internship and residency at Rutgers Health Monmouth Medical Center in 2021. Dr. Ippoliti joined Kelsey-Seybold as a board-certified internist in December 2025 and speaks English, Italian, and Spanish with her patients.
Since the age of 4, Dr. Ippoliti wanted to be a physician, having witnessed her grandfather’s battle with cancer and his physicians’ compassionate care. She sees adult patients in her practice, providing well care, acute sick care, and management of chronic diseases, including diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, cirrhosis, hepatitis C, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), obesity, and migraines, among many others. Dr. Ippoliti also has a strong interest in mental health, particularly in addressing depression and anxiety as part of comprehensive primary care. Her favorite aspect of practicing medicine is applying science to prevent or relieve illness while building meaningful connections with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Philosophy of Care
Dr. Ippoliti treats her patients as she wishes to be treated — with empathy, respect, honesty, and attentiveness. She listens carefully, providing clear explanations and incorporating the most current medical evidence into her treatment recommendations. Dr. Ippoliti then collaborates with her patients to ensure they feel informed, supported, and empowered in taking an active role in their healthcare decisions.
Hobbies & Interests
Outside of medicine, Dr. Ippoliti enjoys reading, writing short stories, cooking, swimming, and spending time with her family.
