Michael Romagosa, MD, earned his Doctor of Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso Paul L. Foster School of Medicine, graduating in 2020. He relocated to Houston to complete his internship and Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at the McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) in 2021 and 2024, respectively. Dr. Romagosa joined Kelsey-Seybold’s Hospitalist Medicine department in September 2024.
Dr. Romagosa follows in the footsteps of his late father, who was a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician. As a hospitalist, Dr. Romagosa serves as the primary care physician for patients within the hospital setting. He cares for a wide variety of acute and chronic conditions, coordinating inpatient care and follow-up care for patients to receive after discharge from the hospital. Dr. Romagosa’s favorite part of practicing medicine is having the privilege of supporting his patients through some of the scariest and most stressful times of their lives.

When he is away from the hospital, Dr. Romagosa enjoys spending time with his wife and son, fishing, hunting, trying new foods, and traveling both domestically and abroad “to marvel in God's magnificent creation!”Education
