Dr. Melanie Ribbeck earned her Bachelor of Science in physics, graduating summa cum laude in 2014 at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She earned her medical degree at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2018. She completed her Pediatrics residency at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, in 2021. Dr. Ribbeck is board certified in Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She joined Kelsey-Seybold in March 2022.

Dr. Ribbeck enjoys traveling with family, taking long walks with her rescue dog Daisy, and cheering for Louisiana State University.

Fun Facts

The best advice Dr. Ribbeck has ever received is “Trust your gut.”

The most interesting place she has visited is Alaska.

Not everyone knows this about her, but she has double-jointed elbows. Her guilty pleasure is chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. As a child, she wanted to become a ballerina because she loved to dance.
