Dr. Mary Alice Sallman Hickson is a board-certified dermatologist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD). She earned her Bachelor of Science in international nutrition at The University of Texas at Austin in 2013 and her medical degree from McGovern Medical School University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2017. She completed two residencies, one in 2018 in Internal Medicine at The University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School, and the other in 2021 in Dermatology at McGovern Medical School University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston/MD Anderson, where she was chief resident. She joined Kelsey-Seybold in August 2021.

Dr. Hickson enjoys hiking, backpacking, photography, and running half-marathons.

Fun Facts

Not everyone knows this about Dr. Hickson, but she was an avid gymnast, diver, and pole vaulter growing up.

Her guilty pleasure is chocolate chip cookies from Tiny’s Milk and Cookies.
