Manish Parikh, MD, earned his medical degree at Texas A&M Medical School in Bryan in 1999. From there, he relocated to Houston to complete his Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) in 2003. Bilingual in English and Gujarati, Dr. Parikh joined Kelsey-Seybold with more than 20 years of experience in primary care. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Parikh was moved to become a physician from his experiences volunteering at a pediatric hospital while in high school. As an internist and pediatrician, he cares for patients ages 10 and above for a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses such as respiratory infections, asthma, diabetes, hypertension, and more. His clinical interests center on preventive care, end-of-life care, and the treatment of ADHD. Dr. Parikh’s favorite part of practicing medicine is forming relationships and memories with patients and their families.

Dr. Parikh prioritizes open and honest communication, even about difficult topics. Because he knows his patients are the most important members of the care team, he engages them in all decision making for their care. Dr. Parikh also concentrates on providing preventive care that will help his patients maintain wellness at every stage of their lives.
Hobbies & Interests
In his free time, Dr. Parikh enjoys traveling, playing golf, and enjoying the great restaurants in Houston.
