Karen Huynh, PA-C, earned a Master of Medical Science in physician assistant studies from Marshall B. Ketchum University in Fullerton, California, in 2024 after earning her Bachelor of Science and Arts in biology from The University of Texas at Austin in 2019. Karen holds national certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and joined Kelsey-Seybold in April 2025.
Karen was inspired to enter medicine after losing her father to cancer at a young age, an experience that instilled a passion for providing compassionate care and support to patients during vulnerable times. As a physician assistant, Karen performs preoperative evaluations and education, postoperative follow-ups, wound care, surgical consultations, and minor procedures. Karen’s clinical interests include the full spectrum of surgical care, from preoperative assessment and intraoperative assistance to postoperative management. She enjoys the dynamic, hands-on nature of surgery and values the teamwork, precision, and problem solving it requires.

Karen strives to build trust and empower patients to actively participate in their care by providing tailored, evidence-based treatment in a collaborative environment.

Karen enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, running, paddle boarding, pickleball, indoor climbing, and exploring the outdoors.
