Inspired to pursue medicine by the kind and trustworthy nature of his own childhood orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Rector provides comprehensive care for patients with a variety of cardiovascular conditions and symptoms. These include high blood pressure, high cholesterol, coronary artery disease, heart rhythm disorders, heart failure, and valvular heart disease. Dr. Rector’s clinical interests also include preventive cardiology, heart disease risk reduction, echocardiography, and cardiac CT. He finds that the most rewarding part of practicing medicine is building lasting relationships with patients and helping them achieve better health. Dr. Rector also enjoys guiding patients through complex medical decisions and seeing the positive impact on their lives.

Dr. Rector builds trust by listening carefully, communicating openly, and educating patients on their conditions, evidence-based treatment options, and strategies for maintaining long-term cardiovascular health and wellness.
