Dr. Bassi completed her medical degree in 2000 from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, and went on to complete an Internal Medicine internship and a Radiology residency (2005) at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. She was awarded a Body Imaging fellowship from 2005 to 2006 at Henry Ford Hospital where she later served as the senior staff radiologist from 2006-2015.

Dr. Bassi enjoys skiing, interior design, reading and raising her daughers with her husband.

Fun Facts

Dr. Bassi is trained in Kathak, a classical Indian dance, and has visited Machu Picchu and Peru. As a child, she wanted to be an interior designer. Her favorite book is Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier, her favorite musical act is U2 and her favorite historical figure is Edgar Degas.
