Dangtue Nguyen, MD, earned his medical degree at the University of Mississippi in Jackson in 2014. He then went on to the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo to complete his Internal Medicine residency. Dr. Nguyen joined Kelsey-Seybold as a board-certified Internal Medicine hospitalist in June 2026.

From a young age, Dr. Nguyen was always curious about how things worked - a natural curiosity that led him to medicine, a career that allows him to embrace his passion for science while building relationships with patients and working to improve their quality of life every day. As a hospitalist, he serves as a primary care physician for adult hospitalized patients with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Dr. Nguyen provides compassionate, thorough, evidence-based care - taking the time to carefully evaluate each patient, communicate clearly with families, and coordinate follow-up treatment plans to ensure the best possible outcomes. He finds it especially rewarding to see how effective problem solving and teamwork can lead to better care and make a meaningful difference in each patient's recovery.

Philosophy of Care

Dr. Nguyen's goal is always to go above and beyond for his patients and provide the same level of compassionate, patient-centered care and attention that he would want for his own family. He works to create a supportive, calm, and respectful environment where his patients feel heard and valued. Dr. Nguyen tailors treatment plans to his patients' specific conditions while ensuring patients and families feel informed, involved, and confident in his care.
