Christi Lauve Herrejon is a certified radiology practitioner assistant (RPA) licensed by the Board for Radiology Practitioner Assistants (CBRPA) with licenses in computed tomography and in radiography, both issued by the American Registry of Registered Technologists. She earned her Bachelor of Science, Radiology Practitioner Assistant/Radiologist Assistant at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, in 2012. She completed her Radiation Practitioner Assistant internship at Texas Children’s Hospital in 2012 and her Radiography internship in the Texas Medical Center in 1996.
Prior to joining Kelsey-Seybold, Christi cared for patients as a radiology practitioner assistant at RadNet in Beverly Hills, Calif., where she performed fluoroscopic and specialized imaging procedures under the supervision of a physician. She joined Kelsey-Seybold in December 2020.
Christi enjoys photography, drawing, and learning about historical medical practices.
Fun Facts
The best advice Christi has ever received was from her mother on the eve of Christi’s first day working at her mom’s office as a teenager. She told Christi to work hard and don’t make her look bad. Christi attributes her strong work ethic to that conversation.
The most exotic/interesting place she has visited was a trip she took to Egypt to visit her son who was living there in 2015.
As a child, she loved to play school and wanted to become a teacher. She eventually taught at the college level for two years, which she enjoyed. Ultimately, her love for patient care and performing procedures led her back into the clinic setting. She still enjoys teaching students and mentoring technologists in her current capacity.
