Brittany S. Richardson-Canty, MD, FAAP, attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham - School of Medicine, graduating with her medical degree in 2014. She then completed both her internship and Pediatrics residency at Baylor College of Medicine in 2015 and 2017, respectively. Dr. Richardson-Canty joined Kelsey-Seybold as a board-certified pediatrician in April 2024.

Dr. Richardson-Canty wanted to be a physician as long as she can remember. As a general pediatrician, Dr. Richardson-Canty monitors the growth and development of children from birth through adolescence, guiding families on child nutrition, developmental milestones, learning, preventative health, and safety. She also sees and treats common short-term and long-term illnesses and disorders that affect children. This includes common colds and infections, injuries, asthma, skin conditions, stomach and appetite concerns, weight concerns, and psychological, behavioral, and developmental disorders. Her clinical interests include newborn and premature infant care, early childhood development, Dermatology, teen health, healthy lifestyle goals, and children with special healthcare needs. Dr. Richardson-Canty loves advocating for the health of her patients as they grow, develop, and learn over time.
