Anika Ramchand, MS, CCC-SLP, began her higher educational endeavors at the University of Houston in Houston, Texas, earning her Bachelor of Science in communications sciences and disorders in 2019. She then went to the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where she earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2021. Anika joined Kelsey-Seybold as an experienced speech-language pathologist in July 2025.
Encouraged by her parents to pursue a career in which she could make a difference, Anika loves that Speech-Language Pathology allows her to build connections with people around her. She sees patients who have a wide variety of concerns or disorders of speech, language, and overall communication. These can include repetitive, expressive, and pragmatic language as well as fluency disorders and articulation. Her favorite part of being in the speech pathology field is getting the privilege to see the progress her patients make in their communication skills and seeing how it positively impacts their interactions with their loved ones.
Philosophy of Care
Anika builds trust by tailoring a holistic approach to each patient’s individual needs and comfort level, allowing them to feel seen and heard and to progress at their own pace. She creates a trusting, supportive, and collaborative environment where her patients’ communication skills can grow naturally and confidently.
Hobbies & Interests
Anika enjoys traveling, exploring new coffee shops, and spending time with her family, her family dog, and her friends.
