Ambreen Ahmed, DO, is a graduate of Lincoln Memorial University - DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, Tennessee, where she earned her medical degree in 2021. She went on to complete the Medical City Weatherford Internal Medicine Residency Program in Weatherford, Texas, in 2024, followed by a Geriatric Medicine fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 2025. Bilingual in English and Urdu, Dr. Ahmed joined Kelsey-Seybold’s Internal Medicine and Geriatrics departments in January 2026.
After witnessing her own grandmother’s struggles to access care as she aged, Dr. Ahmed became a compassionate, attentive physician to advocate and offer high-quality care for aging patients. With a holistic approach, Dr. Ahmed focuses on understanding the full picture of her patients’ physical, emotional, and social health to provide thoughtful, personalized, and comprehensive primary care. Her clinical interests include preventive care, lifestyle counseling, and long-term health maintenance. She also emphasizes chronic disease management for conditions like hypertension, Type 2 diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, GERD, and depression and anxiety. Dr. Ahmed’s favorite part of practicing medicine is building meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and being able to make a tangible difference in their lives. She finds it especially rewarding to help patients feel heard, supported, and empowered as they work toward better health and quality of life.

Dr. Ahmed’s philosophy of care is rooted in compassion, trust, and whole-person medicine. She believes in listening first, treating patients with dignity and respect, and partnering with them to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care that addresses not only medical conditions but also the individual’s values, goals, and overall well-being.

Hobbies & Interests
In her free time, Dr. Ahmed enjoys organizing and supporting charity and community events, which allows her to give back and stay connected to the community she serves. Most importantly, she values spending quality time with her husband and child, experiences that keep her grounded and deepen her empathy and perspective as a physician.
