Tiffany Herd, MD, studied medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine at Galveston, earning her doctorate in 2006. After completing a Pediatrics residency at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital in 2013, she completed a Pediatric Dermatology fellowship at Children’s Mercy Hospital and Clinics in Kansas City, Missouri in 2014. Following a Dermatology residency at the University of Kansas in 2017, Dr. Herd returned to Baylor College of Medicine to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Dermatology in 2018. She joined Kelsey-Seybold’s Dermatology department in November 2025 and is board certified in Dermatology, Pediatric Dermatology, and Pediatrics.

Growing up in a rural area with limited access to dermatologists and pediatric dermatologists inspired Dr. Herd to become a physician. She specializes in treating conditions such as acne, vascular birthmarks, eczema/psoriasis, and hemangiomas. Her favorite part of practicing medicine is being able to help her patients, especially children, improve their confidence and self-esteem through treatment of their skin disorders.

Philosophy of Care

Dr. Herd likes to engage in pretend play and interact with her patients on their level. With a patient-centered and collaborative approach, she strives to empower the patient and their family to participate in their own care.

Joined Kelsey-Seybold: November 2025
