Sarah Duong, MD, MPH, is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician and a Kelsey-Seybold hospitalist. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in international studies in 2005 at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. In 2011, she earned her medical degree and Master of Public Health from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She completed her Internal Medicine residency in 2014 at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

Prior to joining Kelsey-Seybold in 2022, Dr. Duong worked as a staff physician and hospitalist at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital for The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Department of Medicine.

Hobbies & Interests

Dr. Duong enjoys international travel, paper crafting, and reading. She has a keen interest in epidemiology and addressing health disparities in the Asian-American community.

Fun Facts

The most exotic place Dr. Duong has ever visited is Angkor Wat in Cambodia.

Her guilty pleasure is watching martial arts dramas.

As a child, she wanted to be a first-grade teacher because hers had the greatest influence in her early years of education.
