Samah Khan, PA-C, attended the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine at Galveston, completing her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2025. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in health from the University of Houston. Bilingual in English and Urdu, Samah joined Kelsey-Seybold Clinic’s Gastroenterology department as a certified physician assistant in November 2025.
Inspired by her own healthcare providers as she grew up, Samah pursued a career in medicine to help others in their most vulnerable moments. Samah strives to make every patient feel heard, respected, and confident in their treatment plan as she evaluates, diagnoses, and manages a broad range of acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions such as GERD, Crohn’s disease, gallstones, IBS, and more. She also has a passion for patient education and preventive care — and she finds it particularly rewarding to help relieve her patients’ symptoms, ease their worries, and enhance their well-being.
Philosophy of Care
Samah takes the time to listen to her patients’ concerns, explaining diagnoses and treatment options clearly and ensuring they feel comfortable asking questions. With a patient-centered, collaborative, and compassionate approach, she focuses on treating the whole person, not just the condition, emphasizing education and tailored preventive care to empower patients in their health journeys.
Hobbies & Interests
Samah loves to spend her free time crocheting, trying new restaurants and coffee shops, baking, and crafting.
