Roohi Khan, MD, is a board-certified nephrologist who earned her medical degree at Dow University of Health Sciences in Pakistan in 1998. After relocating to the U.S., Dr. Khan completed an internship and Internal Medicine residency at Charleston Area Medical Center – West Virginia University School of Medicine in 2005. After relocating to the U.S., she completed her Internal Medicine residency at Charleston Area Medical Center – West Virginia University School of Medicine in 2005. She then worked in a research lab and served as faculty at Harvard in Boston before relocating to the Houston area to complete a fellowship in Hypertension and Kidney Diseases at Baylor College of Medicine in 2014.Dr. Khan joined Kelsey-Seybold in January 2025.

As a nephrologist, Dr. Khan specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of kidney-related conditions, including chronic kidney disease, diabetic nephropathy, kidney stones, polycystic kidney disease, and hypertension-related kidney disorders. She also evaluates symptoms such as changes in urination, blood in the urine, and lower back or side pain. With a strong focus on early detection, disease prevention, and personalized treatment plans, Dr. Khan is committed to improving kidney health and overall well-being for her patients.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Khan enjoys working out, traveling with family and friends, and finding balance through yoga. She believes in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and prioritizing self-care to stay energized and focused.
