Dr. Rojas attended La Universidad del Zulia in Maracaibo, Venezuela, earning his medical degree in 2014. After relocating to the U.S., he completed an Internal Medicine residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center of the Permian Basin in Odessa in 2024. Dr. Rojas also completed an Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 2026. Bilingual in English and Spanish, he joined Kelsey-Seybold in July 2026.
Having witnessed the impact made by his own father’s compassionate physicians, Dr. Rojas was drawn to medicine to pursue a career centered on helping people in a meaningful way. As an endocrinologist, he treats disorders such as diabetes, thyroid disease, obesity, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary disorders, PCOS, and other hormone-related conditions. Dr. Rojas also evaluates symptoms like fatigue, unexplained weight changes, high or low blood sugar, abnormal thyroid levels, menstrual irregularities, bone health concerns, and other symptoms related to hormonal imbalance. While prioritizing thoughtful, evidence-based care, he finds it especially rewarding to see the real-life difference treatment can make in a patient’s life.
Philosophy of Care
Dr. Rojas prioritizes providing patient-centered, realistic care plans that are individualized to help improve each patient’s quality of life. With a focus on listening carefully and showing empathy, he treats each patient with respect and communicates clearly and honestly so patients feel informed, involved, and supported in their care.
